Glen Farnsworth had 18 points with Olsen scoring 14 and Revis Kessoli with 12, pacing the Canyon View boys to offset double-dig- it scoring by Helpers Richard LaRoy, Chris Kofford and Joel Allred. 43-3-5, 63-6- First meeting Friday Club starts golf association The Carbon Country Club is once again forming the Carbon-Emer- y Mens Golf Association. The association will be open to all male golfers who purchase a handicap card at the club, according to Rick Larsen. He said membership at the Carbon Country Club is not required to join the association. The main objective of the group is to promote golf in the Carbon-- . Emery area. Larsen said this will be accomplished through association involvement, additional competitive events and course improvement projects. . Each tournament scheduled by the club will be preceded by a meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays at the Carbon Country Club. At these meetings, Larsen said association news will be discussed, upcoming activities and any other pertinent golf news. The meetings will be capped off with a golf film or some other entertainment feature. Those interested in joining the association are asked to contact Carbon Country Club pro Milan Swilor at the golf shop. Larsen said yearly dues will be $23 and will include your Utah State handicap card. The remaining monies will be deposited and used for trophies, social activities and other association projects, Larsen said. The first meeting of the group is scheduled for March 25. Larsen said this will be a very important meeting in that of Carbon-Eme-ry ficers will be elected and policies and objectives will be set. The movie, Millers will be at Oakmont, Triumph shown following the meeting. On March 26, the association is planning an n best ball tournament. Women's softball league sets meet For those women who are and ready to get trade a floor mop for a bat, the Womens Softball League is holding an organizational rs meeting Monday, March 28. The meeting is open to all women interested in joining a softball team. It will be in the Price City Hall in Room 7.
