the proceedings the seventy second semi annual con ference convened ia the tabernacle at salt lake october 4 pres dent joseph F smith opened conference stating that president snow was suffering from a cold and did not feel like brav ing the damp weather pres dent smith said there were a good many subjects to come before the conference the authorities have noted that some evils are op the increase among the I 1 atter day baines and it was much desired that they be stamped out one of these is the growing tendency es specially ally among the youth to diere gard the sabbath day another is the use
