Show Thursday, March THE GREEN SHEET 9B 24, 1988 SCHOOLS See How They Run Brings Gales Of Laughter To Taylorsville Patrons by Olga Milius Green Sheet Theater Critic TAYLORSVILLE. See How They Run has to be one of the funniest plays ever written, and students at Taylorsville high gave character and full of energy, a must for this play, but we must mention Dale Boams hysterical performance as the Bishop of Lax. it the full treatment Friday, bringing howls of laughter from the packed audience. Russell Johnsons deft touch as a director was evident The throughout. Taylorsville Little Theater, while comfortable and offering a good playing area could have presented real problems for this very active play, but good blocking gave the cast the scope they needed to run, and run they did. Philip Kings farce, a muddle of not one, but several mistaken identities, is deservedly popular with theater goers, and the Taylorsville cast made the most of the hilarious script. It would be hard to single out all were in any performer, acting added the final touch to a very funnv role. The other "reverends Russell Wasden as Lionel Toop; Nels Holmgren, Arthur Humphrey; Andrew Graft, the intruder and Alan Ormsby as Sergeant Clive Winton were suitably confused and extremely funny. All won their fair share of laughter and applause. The chase scenes were truly hilarious, the actors were literally bouncing off the walls and the audience loved it. Marilee Evans was delightful as Ida the maid, coy and flirty and handling well the scenes with Aubry Chapman, who made the most of her role as the indomitable Miss Skillon. Stacy Nix was well cast as Penelope. Rounding out a well balanced cast was Jef Olsen as the police officer.
