Coach Bill juggled in the infield, two runs scored. Bailey hit to the second baseman, who threw to the plate to cut down the runner there. On the play the Judge catcher, Andy Kavoukas, was hurt and was taken out of the game and replaced by sophomore Steve Prokopis. Kevin Bolingbroke then brought in three runs with a double to left center. The loss of Kavoukas had an interesting sidelight when it was ruled by the umpire that Prokopis was ineligible to bat because he had failed to report to the umpire when he came into the game and Prokopis was then replaced at catcher by freshman Adam Session After Jduge came back with one run m the fifth, Murray put the game away with two more runs in the sixth, when Rion Thomas drove in one with a single and later scored himself on an infield error. Judge came back strong in the seventh when Cameron Kersey beat out an infield hit, and stole second. Jimmy Scarcelli walked, Steve Skamnes was hit by a pitch and Sessions hit a ground ball, but Judge scored on a late play at home. Chris Leonelli singled in one, and Paul Banrutia brought in two more on a Texas Leaguer to right. Chad Forrest went the distance for Murray, while Ben Soto pitched into the fourth for Judge when he was relieved by Robert Chacon and Kersey came on to pitch the last two. Kersey w as 3x4 and Skamnes 2x3 for the Bulldogs when Rion Thomas had 2x4 for Murray. Siebenberg's Murray Spartans went into a tie for first place in Region 6 when they defeated Judge Memorial on Tuesday at Ken Price Park. The w in gave the Spartans a record of four wins and two defeats with four games left to play.
