A meeting is scheduled at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Arcadia elementary to arrange a community clean-u- p campaign. Those interested are being asked to attend and discuss and plan the project, to be held during the last week in April and first two weeks in May throughout the area. Trucks will be available to haul of limbs and trash. Residents are being asked to join the canmpaign by cleaning up their own yards, assisting neighbors and cooperating to clean up yards of empty houses. For more information those interested may call Sue Brooks, chairman, GRANGER. A health and safety fair will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Farnsworth elementary. The PTA sponsored event will feature about 20 booths, including displays by the American Heart Assn., West Valley Police Department, West Valley Fire Department, American Lung Assn., Utah Eye Assn., and Utah Dairy Assn. Teachers and stduents feel very positive about the event, and it is conhoped that many students will sider seriously the negative effects of using drugs, and will declare themselves, drug free and healthy, said Mrs. Fink. HUNTER. A program titled Staying drug free and healthy will be offered at Hunter junior high from Monday through April 16. The importance of that theme will be stressed throughout the four-da- y event, with the kick-of- f being a presentation for the entire student body by John Christensen, a family relationship specialist from the Counterpoint Center of Olympus View Hospital. Students will also be encouraged to bring their families for a second presentation by Christensen, to be given at 7 p.m Monday, titled Building bridges, not walls. The session will deal with ways in which family members can help support one another and function without resorting to use of drugs.
