Registration for summer programs, sponsored by the Magna Recreation Center, will begin at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, according to Tracy Heun, director. The summer fun package is an allday program (or those from 6 to 12 years of age. Names of winners in the Reflections contest have been announced at Pleasant Green elementary. More than 180 entries were submitted, the largest number in any year since the school opened, said a spokesman. Anyone interested should contact these community schools. Ilia Wright To Receive Honor Sunday Paul Catholic Church, 3560 W. 3650 South. Wright was given the award for her volunteer efforts. Besides participation in the Legion of Mary and prison ministry, she visits hospital patients, nursing home and prison inmates. At the Detention Center, Wright is well known for showing film strips. She also helps at the soup kitchen and is treasurer of the North Curia, a CYO adviser and a den mother. The African peace garden at the church was implemented by Wright.
