Ive owned four automobiles. Two imports, two made by one of the Big Three U.S. automakers. I have some concerns about the trade balance. I think its legitimate and an issue our government is going to have to deal with. But as a consumer, there are certain bottom lines I have to adhere to. The first is obvious. The cost of the product. When you're talking automobile, its a big investment. As I shopped around. found that getting the most car for the money meant giving a serious look to the leading imports from Japan. 1 suppose the U.S. could impose sufficient tax to make them less attractive to the buyer. sumer Reports and you can talk to people about the cars they drive.
