Show THE GREEN SHEET 3B Sarah Brown Day Marks Her 90th Anniversary The family of Sarah Emma Brown Day will honor her on the occasion of obituaries Rbin McDougd Scott. Theodore Milich BURIED. Theodore Milich, 66, Friday in Mt. View Memorial Estates. He died Jfn. 20, 1987. Born March 9. 1920 to Emil Sarah came to Hunter ( now part of West Valley City) in 1929 and has lived in the same house, there on 3500 South, for the past 57 years. She is one of the oldest living residents of the Hunter area. in the many wards in the valley. Sarah owned nd successfully operated her own dry good store, The Tarry Shop, in Hunter, for rW several years. She sewed and made many baby quilts for the Mormon Handicraft store, and, before her eyesight failed, did other beautiful articles of embroidery, needle point and crochet work. She was an employee of Tooele Ordinance Depot and also at the Ordinance plant on Redwood Road. Both of her sons served in the armed forces. Sarah cares for herself, does some of her own housework, works one day a week at the Granger Bishops Storehouse and participates in many other senior citizen activities. Her family tells that, in spite of ill health, Sarah has a positive attitude toward life and is always cheerful. Married Dec. 25, 1975 to Joanne Farnsworth. Both marriages later solemnized in Salt Lake LDS Temple. Veteran of World War 11, received Distinguished Service Cross. Married in 1937 to Ruth Jacobsen, later solemnized in Salt Lake LDS Temple. Served nine years in U. S. Army. Retired Newspaper Agency. Sur, vivors include wife. Timothy Craig Sullivan, 21, Wednesday in Elysian Burial Gardens. He died Jan. 17, 1987. Born April 10, 1965 to Ronald Thomas and Peggy Ann Mortensen Sullivan. Graduated from Kearns high school. Member Kearns Kiwanis Club, former president Kearns Chamber of Commerce. Ordinance worker at Jordan River LDS Temple for five years. Preceded in death by a son, her ninetieth birthday. Sarah was born on Feb. 4, 1897 in Draper, Utah, the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Ann Beck Brown. She ws the youngest of eleven children and is the only living member of that family. The honored woman grew up in Idaho and Riverton, Utah and graduated from Jordan high. She and Golden Day were married in Nov. 1918 and they had three children. They are D. Jim (Nan) Day of Woodland Hills, CA; Janice (Mrs. Jack) Welling of Magna and Ralph (Beverly) of Hunter. She also has six grandchildren and three She has always enjoyed working in her yard and grows a variety of beautiful flowers.
