The threats must have worked, because we had a good turnout. It was our first home game and the Warriors played very well. Unfortunately, the game ended with Olympus on top. Our team made a valiant second half comeback, but it proved to be in vain. The game ended with Olympus 39, Taylorsville 29. The Hello stomp kept up the tradition of being an enormous success with the cooperation of the weather and support from the students. Tomorrow (Friday) the Warriors will be going to Granger and playing the Lancers at 4:30. Id like to wish the Warriors the best of luck and hope to see a large turnout again. Following the game, members of the drama club will hold their Opening Wing Ding, which will be a toga, fruit and vegetable party. It will involve games using various vegetables and generally a lot of fun. Well, Homecoming is the time when all alumni are invited to come back to Granite for a week, replied Darren, a senior. Why would anyone want to go to classes for a week when they dont have to? Its not to attend classes, silly, we have certain special events for .the week, like on Wednesday, the queens assembly. You mean Miss America and her attendants actually come to visit us? Oh, sure! No, remember them announcing the queen candidates? They are the gorgeous girls at Granite. That sounds alright.
