Persons interested may go to the Lehi rodeo grounds of Fifth West just north of Highway 73 on either day, starting at 8 a.m. A horse costs $125, which includes veterinary fees. For a year the federal government retains title to the adopted horse but then it may be transfer red to the adopter if care has been satisfactory. Adopters should be sure their vehicles for transporting the horses are sturdy enough because the animals have been running wild on the range for some time, Maxfield said.
