Loveland, of West Valley City, have been called to serve separate LDS missions. A farewell meeting will honor the two on Jan. 26th, at 2:50 p.m., in the Granger 4th ward, 3751 So. 2200 West. An open house will honor the Bruce will serve in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania while his brother Brent will be in Philadelphia. future missionaries at 4 p.m., that same day, at the home of their parents, 3143 So. 3780 West. They are graduates of Granger high where they participated in both football and track. Their gfandparents are Mr. and Mrs. David Riley of Evanston, Wyoming and Mrs. June Loveland of Jackson, Wyoming. Brent will enter the training center on Jan. 30 and Bruce one week later, on Feb. 6, 1986. This is the fifth consecutive year that readers of the Green Sheet are being invited to choose the Woman of the Year. Four women will be honored. One will represent the West Valley, Magna, Taylorsville, Kearns area; one the Murray environs, another from MidvaleSandy and the fourth from West Jordan, South Jordan and Riverton. Outstanding women have been awarded this citation and those receiving the recognition this year will have hard acts to follow. The following have earned this award: Nancy (Mrs. Max J.) Butchereit, and Mary (Mrs. Ray) White, 1982; Elna (Mrs. Jack) Kirkham and Millie (Mrs. Lynn D. Oberhansley)-Bernard1983; Lynn Turner and Dixie (Mrs. Jerry) Nelson, 1984 and, because of our expanded circulation, Maurine Jensen; JoAnn (Mrs. Reed) Winward, Miriam (Mrs. Dean) Farnsworth and Arlette (Mrs. John) Day of 1985. Proctor Brandt Goble Brandt Goble has accepted a call to serve an LDS mission to Zurich, Switzerland. He will be honored at a farewell meeting on January 26, in the Lake Ridge Third ward, S151 So. 7700 West, at 12:50p.m. An open house will be held, following the meeting, at this home on 7655 West 3395 South. The missionary Is the son Bishop Wm. Kent and Marilyn S. of Go- ble. Brandt is a graduate of Cyprus high and has attended Utah Tech. He will enter the mission training center on January 30, 1986. . Von C. Proctor, son of Ted and Linnita Proctor, of West Valley City, has accepted an LDS mission call to Birmingham, Alabama. A farewell meeting will be held in his honor at the Hunter 15th ward, 5000 W. Pavant Ave. (3735 So.), on January 26th at 10:45 a.m. Following the meeting his parents will host an open house at 4946 W. PanamintRd. (3670 So.). Von will enter the missionary training center on February 6, 1986. He is a graduate of Cyprus high, an Eagle Scout and has attended Utah Technical College, School of Business. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. E.R. Proctor, Salt Lake and Mr. and Mrs. Quintin Best, Sandy. Edward D. Saddler Edward Dean Saddler will soon leave to serve an LDS mission in Sacramento, California.
