Show 3B THE GREEN SHEET Mfleoftflumeo 12, 1985 Lnvnnnsj. nim DeMar And Therma Brimhall Honored On Golden Wedding Anniversary The children of DeMar W. and Therma Smith Brimhall will host an open house on Sat., Sept. 14th to honor their parents 50th wedding anniversary. They are extending an invitation to family and friends. The event will be held at 100 E. 6100 South, Murray, from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. They are requesting no gifts. DeMar was born June 6, 1915, in Vernal, to Jesse and Veda Brimhall while Therma was born in Draper on October 12, 1917 to Samuel and Elizabeth Smith. They met while in junior high and were married Sept. 16, 1935 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. DeMar was a general contractor in highway construction, and his company crushed and prepared quartzite for the LDS church office building. He has been an active member of the LDS church and is Thursday, September now serving on the high council on Murray West Stake. He was president of the Utah unit of Wally Byam Caravan club during which time he and Therma traveled throughout the U.S., Mexico, Canada, Alaska and Nova Scotia, as well as Australia and New Zealand. She will enter the training center on Sept. 26th. A farewell in her honor will be held in the Sugarhouse 2nd Ward, 808 Roosevelt (8th East 1500 South) at 12:00 on Sun. Sept. 22nd. Immediately following the meeting, an open house to honor her will be held in the cultural hall of the ward building. Karen is a graduate of Cyprus high. Roseborough Jeffery C. Roseborough, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Roseborough, Taylorsville, has been called to serve an LDS mission in Helsinki, Finland. Prior to entering the training center on September 19th, there will be a farewell in his honor at the Taylorsville 1st Ward, 1400 W. 4800 South, at 11:50 a.m., Sun., Sept. 15th. His parents will host an open house that afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at their home, 1270 Pinewood. Jeffery is a graduate of Taylorsville high and has attended the University of Utah.
