Tickets are on sale for this summers Arts in the Park festival in the new 1,000 seat Murray event. The festival concludes Aug. 12 with the Murray Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Robert Lentz. In addition, two Utah Symphony concerts will be held July 9 and 19. Discount rates have been arranged for the orchestras appearances if patrons purchase tickets along with the chambers arts series. Performances will be held in the Murray Park Amphitheater, 370 E. 5210 South, and all concerts begin at 8 p.m., with the exception of the Utah Symphony events which start at 7:30. Tickets are available at the chamber offices weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Steffen said. A series ticket is available for $19.50 for adults, $9.75 for students and children. To accommodate personal interests and preferences, tickets for individual events are also available at $5 per adult or $2.50 for students and children, he said.. Utah Symphony tickets run $8 adults, $5 children, but if purchased in conjunction with the chamber series a $1 discount applies.
