On every shopping spree in town and whenever traveling she ends up in a culinary department searching for cookie cutters. Her favorites are the plastic ones with detailed features which make realistic impressions on the dough. With these she can cut out the shapes and bake them, then paint the cookies with paste food colors thinned with water. Using dinner plate palettes and various size brushes, she creates tasty objects of art. The latest addition to her collec bv Helen Glissmeyer MURRAY. At Halloween time, Leslie baked some spiders and witches for a painting activity at Murray Boys and Girls Club, where she is employed. The kids had fun adding the bright hues.
