Show 9 Veterans Appeal For Clothing Booster Club Seeks Members time for giving, the Veterans ministration Medical Center is appealing to residents in the valley to help them stock their clothing room. Orlando Barber, who works in that division, said there is a need for new and used mens clothing for veterans who are now coming through the state looking for work. Supplies are ample to take care of the womens needs, since there are only about 22 women involved in the program, Barber noted. However, the greatest need is for mens shoes, coats, pants, shirts, socks and underwear. Barber encouraged residents here to go through their closets and drawers to find items of clothing that they no longer wear, or to buy new clothes of someone less fortunate. They made a huge sacrifice for us, Barber said, now it is our turn to do something for them.
