Model United Nations, National From Kearns High Four Gearing For Girls State KEARNS. Four students have been chosen to represent Kearns high at Girls State, to be held Sunday through June 9 at Cedar Citys Southern Utah State College. Chosen by members of American Legion Auxiliary Unit were Sharon 132 Keith, Honor Society American offering girls an opportunity to learn more about the American government and democracy by living in a state in which they elect officials and participate in a simulation of governing a state. The girls are all members of the junior class. The Keith girl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Keith, is involved in debate and Spanish and enjoys model United Nations and mixed choir, music, reading, skiing and archeology. Miss Geldmacher, daughter of John and Judy Johnson, is a cheerleader, member of German club, on the governors youth council, serves as a peer counselor and enjoys swimming, 31, 1984 We thanked those who taught us and those who have helped us grow. Special talks were given by Susann Andersson, Nancybeth Ivie, Alisyn Babcock, Tracy Anderson, Frankie Peterson and Greg Carver. The invocation was given by Jesse Curd and the benediction by Robert Moriqrtyv Special presentations were given by the orchestra and the Concert Choir. I would like to congratulate all the seniors who put all the hard work toward their graduation. We now are challenged with the biggest test of all, the test of facing the real world. I wish all of you the best of luck in your lives and I hope you all reach and achieve the goals you have put down for yourselves.
