Long-rang- e planner John Janson wrapped up the final portion of phase one on Thursday with a Planning Commission discussion of citizen committee recommendations for planning districts five and six. Those districts cover the city west of West. In the second phase, already in progress, Janson will combine 4800 citizen committee recommendations, Planning Commission comments and data from analytical studies by the staff to form generalized growth goals for the city. If the process remains on schedule and the City Council adopts a revised master plan by February or March, city officials can begin steps to transform the plans concepts into tangible improvements, the planner said.
