SALT The annual state convention of the National Federation of the Blind of Utah will be held Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:50 p.m. at the Tri-Ar- c. Registration will get under way at 7:30 a.m., with a $2 registration fee and a $5 luncheon fee. 'A pair of $500 scholarships will be awarded to blind students. Currently, the county has 65 reserves, all of whom study advanced first aid training at least once a year. To obtain POST (Police Officer Standard Training) certification, reserve officers are required to pass 160 hours of classwork and 40 hours of field training.
