Show At Center - Bank of Utah 'Melodiers' To Play On 4th MAGNA. The a senior Melodiers, citizen melodica group, will be featured entertainers for the Magna Senior Citizen Centers seventh birthday anniversary celebration on Sept. 4, beginning at 10:30 a.m. The er group has been play ing together since 1977 when Edythe Hales and Goldie Mauch, both retired school teachers, pooled their talents to make music. Since then they have been in demand, both locally and in other areas. At one time the band had 17 members, but according to the co- - founders some have had to drop out because of transportation, health problems, marriage and during the holiday season it is swamped with invitations to perform, more than they can possibly fill, a spokes- there are 13 women and one man involved who practice every Tuesday.
