Show John And Blanche Dennis Susanne Arnold Become Bride Of Terry Robison Celebrate 50th Anniversary the engagement of their daughter, Susanne, to Terry H. Robison, are Mrs. Jean Arnold of Kearns and David Arnold of VerAnnouncing nal. Miss Arnold is a graduate of Kearns high and her fiance is a graduate from that school. Terry is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Robison of Salt Lake. The couple plans to be married' on July 7 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. the Salt lake LDS Temple.. 33 - WBST VALLEY VIEW Thursday, May 21, 1981 Elva Faun Noren Honored With Celebration To rm The children of John Thomas and Blanche Dennis will honor their parents with an open house in honor of their Golden Wedding anniversary on May 23 from 6 to 9 p.m. The celebration will be held at the Grant 8th ward chapel on 3400 South 11th East. It was May 23, 1931 when Blanche Kropf said I do and became the wife of John Dennis. They later had their marriage solemnized in 80th Birthday The last day in May will mark the 80th birthday celebrated by a long time Murray resident, Elva Faun Noren. Mrs. Noren will be honored by her children at an open house planned by them at their home on 5754 McMillan Circle in Murray, from the hours of 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 31. Faun was born in 1901, the daughter of Howard and Eunice Scott. Born in Provo, she spent most of her childhood there except for a period of about 3 years when she lived and went to school in Charleston, Wasatch County, Utah. In 1924 she met Gust E. Noren and they were married December 17 of that year. Gust was an influential citizen in Murray for many years, being active in both civic and church af- fairs. He passed away January 31, 1975. Faun has been active in a variety ty of clubs and organizations including the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and the WWI auxiliary. She was also secretary of the Elko and Murray 3rd ward Relief Societies and magazine agent for 13 years. Faun and Gust have three children: Gordon E. of W'est Valley, Richard of Murray and Lynn of Holliday. She is also grandmother to eight grandchildren and has five Faun and Gust Noren as honeymooners John and Blanche Dennis John and Blanche when they were first married Mr. Dennis was first employed at the Salt Lake Streets Department during the time when Harold B. Lee was Commissioner of the model homes. To his delight he was asked to construct a dance hall in the home of LDS President Heber J. Grant. Both John and Blanche have been active in the LDS Church serving in various positions. Mrs. Dennis was the work director for the LDS Relief Society when they held bazaars. She was also teacher and a junior Sunday school teacher. In addition to these activities she has also contributed many written articles, some of these have been used in the church services. Blanche is an active genealogist and has written the biographies of many relatives.
