This is Rodeo Week at Utah Technical College. are being Events scheduled on campus as well as sponsorship of a National Intercollegiate Rodeo tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday at the County Fairgrounds in Murray. About 300 members of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Assn (NIRA) are expected to enter competition in three rodeos set for tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. Military Set Saturday Ball Ronda, the Utah National Guard, to be held Saturday beginning at 9 p.m. The ball will feature a floor show, plus music furnished by the riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, calf roping, team roping, steer wrestling and Band. Among door prizes to be offered is a video recorder. The cost of admission is $1 per person. Formal attire has been designated for the event which is open to the public. Tickets are available at National Guard headquarters or from members of the Guard. Guard officials noted that is not necessary to purchase a ticket to participate in the door prize drawing.
