During the visit in Maryland, Ann and Kay were invited to join in presenting a programof music and the spoken word atthe visitor's center at ie Washington LDS Temple. Both yo le are grandchildren of Mr. and Mrs. Jack V. LaMia Hooper of Hamilton, New Zealand has been enjoying her 242 week visit with Mr. and . Gus Clark in Provo. Currently LaMia is visiting in Canada with a sister and following this expects to return to her home in New Zealand. oe Jeff Anderson with his wife, Renee and their daughter, Cimarron, who are former Provo residents have returned to Provo where they are planning to reside. For the past eight months they have been living in Austin, Minn. They spent the Christmas holiday at the homeof their mother, Pauline Stanley in Provo. oe Part of the joys of Christmasfor the Rulon W. Myers family of Provo was the visit of two daughters, Mrs. Clark (Brenda) Crookston of Rangely, Col. with her husband and their four children and Mrs. JoAnne Swindler and husband,Allen Swindler and son, David from Cedar Falls, Iowa. Thevisitors also extended theirvisits to parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray B. Crookston and Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Swindler, all of Provo. The Swindlers returned on Mondayand the Crookstons on Thursday. Thoughts were also turned to Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Christensen wholeft Jan. 8 to begin their mission assignment. Messages from another missionary couple the group were discussed for Jim and Euia Norton, who are now serving in England. Other guests were Mr.and Mrs. LeRue Thurston, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Watkins, Ying Lu and Melda Hacking. ‘ The family of Mrs. Ruby P. Nicol of Orem gathered at her home to observe jo the holiday season. Of special interest were two new grandchildren making a first appearance with the family. These were a baby girl to Mr. and Mrs. Kent Nicol of Provo and a baby boy to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rowley of Orem. Calif eee LAKE SHORE—Alan Cook, son of Mrs. Martha Cook of Lake Shore, and two former LDS missionary companions, Scott Ashby and Mark Nelson, have returned from a world tour. Theytraveled some35,000 miles and visited 23 countries, visiting most European countries except those behind the Iron Curtain.
