Wright of Salt Lake City announce the arrival of their first born, a boy, on Dec. 21 at the Cottonwood Hospital. He weighed 8 lbs. 14 oz. and will be named Kirk Thorup. The new mother will be remembered as the former Valerie Wilson of Kaysville. It is the first grandchild for Mr. and Mrs. William K. Wilson of Kaysville. The other grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Wright of Sandy. Mr. and Mrs. Delbert S. Stout, Salt Lake City are the Engaged Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Failoni, 3324 S. 1000 W;, Syracuse, are announcing the engagement of their daughter Tammy to Scott Larry Nye. Mr. Nye is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry R. Nye who reside at 1363 W. 2600 N., Clinton.
