Speaking to the group was James A. Meikle. coordinator for the Private Industry Council. CLEARFIELD Job Corps center hosted the luncheon meeting where the Clearfield Chamber of Commerce were told that the past decade brought growing concern in America. "The local communities face an economic stress that can't be solved w ith added federal funds. he said. The Private Industrial council works directly with other county officials in dealing with large and small businesses, Mr. Meikle stated. The council is comprised of members from various segments, with 5 percent from the private sectors. Our mission is 1 to increase employment MR. AND MRS. HAZEN ADAMS Note 60th Date 3- - Mr. and Mrs. Hazen F. Adams will observe their 63rd wedding anniversary on March 6. They were married March 6, 1918 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. 'r' MR. ADAMS, a son of Andy W. and Harriet E. Adams was :,born Nov. 14, 1893 in east 'Layton. Mrs. Adams, the Sylvia E. Flint, was born Oct. 1, 1898 in West Point, a -daughter of Fred and Elisa W. s Flint. They have lived all their married life in east Layton. for-m- er I-- Mr. Adams attended school in Davis County and at USU. He played for dances with his father, sisters and two cousins and they were known as county and in Weber County. HE DROVE a school bus for Davis County School Board for 15 years, operated steam threshing machine, was sec- retary for east Layton for many years and was employed as a stationary engineer at Ogden Arsenal. He is a High Priest in the East Layton Third Ward. Mrs. Adams taught Sunday School and Primary, was a visiting teacher for many years and served as Relief Society secretary. She worked in the school lunch program for 15 years and later years was supervisor of the lunch program. WHATS COOKING?
