On Feb. 23 they started with a checker tournament with Brian Adams as the winner. On Feb. 25 a tractor driving and spike driving contest was held. Billy Visser was the winner of the tractor contest, and Paul Wells the spike driving contest. ON FEB. 26 an animal display was held. The music was provided by the Dance Machine. Feb. 23 was the first day of the sweetheart contest. Seven girls in the contest had to hammer nails in one minute 30 seconds. They learned something about themselves and how to apply for a job, stated DHS teacher Miss Egbert about the recently conducted resume and job interview work- shops held throughout, the sophomore English classes. THROUGH THE help of Mr. Stine, the classes were taught how to prepare for summer employment, how to apply, and how to dress, speak, and put across a good first impression when being inter viewed by a would-b- e em- CLEARFIELD ployer. The students learned how to express themselves when writing resumes and after two days of learning the basics had to. turn in their own word perfect resume. W'inegar has opened his office for the practice of family dentistry at the Crestwood Professional Plaza in Kaysville. He was born and raised in Layton and graduated from Davis High School. He attended BYU on a football scholarship. He served a mission in Thailand and graduated from BYU. DR. WINEGAR attended dental school at the University of Oregon under the Air Force Health Professions scholarship program. Upon graduating in 1977, he received the American Society of Dentistry for Children award for his work with children. He received his commission as a captain in the Air Force and served four years in the dental corps at Offutt AFB in Omaha, Neb. While in the Air Force, Dr. Winegar received special training to administer intravenous sedations in the treatment of difficult or extensive dental problems.
