Fawcett, 55, of North Oxford Dr., Kays-villdied May 16, 1981 in the hospital of a heart attack. He was born August 22, 1925 in Basalt, Ida., the son of George H. and Lela Gates Fawcett. He married Gwen Peterson Dec. 28, 1945 in Salt Lake City. Rites Held For Iva B. Jensen 1264 member of the Iris dup Camp and served as captain and secretary of the group. SURVIVING are her husband of Syracuse: one son Lewis Jensen. Clearfield: and three daughters. Mrs. Wanda Anderson. Clearfield: Mrs. Darwin (Beth) Hayes. Bountiful and Carlene Jensen. Syracuse: also II grandchildren. 14 and one She has one surviving brother. Clyde Barber. Syrad cuse. and two sisters. Mrs. (Norma) Patterson. W'est Point and Mrs. Leonard (Nola) Berghout. Ogden. Le-lan- FUNERAL services were held on Tuesday afternoon. May 19 at p.m. at the Syra1 IVA B. cuse Second LDS Ward JENSEN Chapel. Bishop John A. Flint, officiated. The family prayer was given by Darwin Hayes. Prelude and postlude organ music was played by Nancy Burton. Mrs. Iva Luella Barber Jensen. 89. of 1919 W. 2700 S.. Syracuse, died on Friday. Mas 15 in a local nursing home, follow ing an illness. MRS. JENSEN was born on Feb. 23. 1892 in Farmington, and was the daughter of James Arthur and Luella Casper Barber. At the age of eight, she moved with her family to Syracuse. With the exception of a few more years that she spent in Hooper, following her marriage. she has remained in Sy racuse. Ill Walk With God, was rendered by Mrs. Rhonda Hansen and Mrs. Evonne Boone, accompanied by Mrs. Burton. A VOCAL duet, Remarks were given by Bishop John A. Flint, and the speakers were Pres. C. Russell Hansen, and Pres. Sheldon F. Child. A VOCAL solo. Whispering Hope." was rendered by Dick Egan, with Mrs. Burton as accompanist. The benediction was given by Kay Darrington and the grave in the Syracuse Cemetery was dedicated by Duane S. Burton. SHE WAS married to George Leonard Jensen on Nov. 24. 1915 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of the Syracuse Second LDS Ward, and had served in the Relief Society. Primary and Sunday School organizations in various positions. She was a . THE PALLBEARERS were Brent Hayes. Terry Hayes. Robin Lawson. Jim Anderson. - and attended West High School. He lived in California for 17 years and in Kaysville the past ten years. He was an iron worker and belonged to Local Union No. 27 in Salt Lake City. He was a member of the Kaysville Tenth Ward. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. While in California he was a little league coach. Surviving are, his widow of Kaysville; sons, Michael V. Fawcett, Kaysville; Chris F. Fawcett, Phoenix, Ariz.; daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Sherri) Johnson, Clinton; Becky Fawcett, Kaysville; Mrs. Kevin (Jody) Adams, Kaysville, and three grandchildren; brothers and sisters, George H. and Verlin Fawcett, Mrs. Lela Kearney and Mrs. Edith Hans, all of Salt Lake City. FUNERAL services were held May 20 in the Lindquist Kaysville Mortuary Chapel with David Peterson officiating. The family prayer was offerred by Wayne Johnson; prelude and postlude music by Sandy Stott; "To Each His Own was played by Sandy Stott; invocation by Clark Brown. Remarks were given by David Peterson and Clark Brown; Sandy Stott played Travis Hayes. Troy Lawson. Brian Henry and Kevin Holmes, all grandsons. Interment in the Kaysville City Cemetery. muebmore SHE WAS born August 19, 1901 in Heber City, a daughter of Franklin Leo and Maud Agnes Waddell Witt. She married Walter Buhler Oct. 1, 1919 in Heber City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died March 17, 1960. She was reared in Heber City and had lived in Park City. She lived in Kaysville the past 60 years. She graduated from Wasatch High School. as Relief Society president and in the Relief Society presidencies of various wards for several years. She was a Primary teacher and a Relief Society visiting teacher for 15 years. A member of the ward choir, she enjoyed singing with the Relief Society Singing Mothers. She did volunteer work at the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake City and served with the Red Cross during World War II. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 82 and the Kaysville ALonas Club. She was a char- ter member of the Athena Club, Shantanka Club, and Phillips Camp of DUP. SURVIVING are four sons and two daughters, Russell W. Buhler, Kaysville; Doyle L. Buhler, Mendota, Calif.; Glenn L. Buhler, Centerville; Verle L. Buhler, Farmington; Mrs. Joe F. (Norma) Preece, Kaysville; Doris Hensler, Salt Lake City; 25 grandchildren and 26 Also, one brother and two sisters, Floyd L.
