She married George poam on Sept. 2J, Hi) in ihc Salt Lake LDS Temple, lie died Dec. 20, I9JJ. SHE MARRIED George Ronnenkamp Sr. on March I J. in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church, She sang with the Tabernacle Choir and was a Relief Society president, a teacher and the stake and ward chorister and organist. She served a Western States Mission for the church. She and Mr. Ronnenkamp served a mission in Canada, 1969-7She was an ordinance worker in the Salt Lake and Ogden Temples. He hopes to picture homes, families and activities representing the families who settled in north Davis County between 1850 and 1870. Carlson, are hung in the Barnes Banking Co. for the August 82 exhibit. The public is invited to visit the exhibit during banking hours. Mrs. Carlson began her art career 13 years ago. SHE SAID, I paint mostly oils, but when I feel really ambitious I paint a watercolor. I love painting rural scenes and old houses. She added that her mood changes with oils, she is completely relaxed. Mrs. Carlson studied at the Salt Lake Art Center and the U. of U. and with a number of teachers, among them Dan and Ken Baxter, Don Doxey, Har rison Groutage and others. SHE HAS received a number of awards (ribbons and cash awards) for her painting. Some of these are: Best of Show, first, second, third and honorable mention at a state convention of the Northern League of Penwomen (an organization of writers, musicians and artists with chapters all over the U.S.). She has also received a first and second and Best of Show at the Utah State Fair in the categories she entered and an honorable mention at the Salt Palace in a show of 550 pictures. Mrs. Carlson was bom in Salt Lake City and lived there all of her life. She resides in Milicreek at the present time. She was educated in Salt Lake City schools. She is the mother of three children: Ronald Carlson of Bountiful; Dene of East Milicreek, and Judy Mansell of Fruit Heights. of Dr. She is the mother-in-laLarry Mansell, son of the late Laurence W.
