NOTICE OF CERTIFICATION OF ELECTION COUNTY PROGRAM Davis County will test the computer program that will be used to count the ballots for the General Election to be held on November 2, 1982. The test will be conducted on Monday November 1, 1982 at 1:00 p.m. in room 114 of the County Courthouse, Farmington, Utah. Anyone who desires to witness this testing is invited to attend. RODNEY W. WALKER, DAVIS COUNTY CLERK CHECK YOUR POLLING PLACE FOR TUESDAYS GENERAL ELECTION REVENUE AND TAXATION ARTICLE REVISION Shall Article XIII of th Slat Constitution be intended toaBow the Legislature to exempt up to 45 of the value of residential property from property tax; to allow the Legislature to establish 1 property tax on local government property which is local ed outside of the local governments' own boundaries; to exempt property owned by nonprofit organizations used exclusively for religious, charitable, or educational purposes; to allow the Legislature to exempt livestock; to allow local governments to share tax and other revenues; to remove the 75 ceiling upon the amount the state may fund for the public school program; and to make other organizational changes in the Revenue and Taxation Article. Rodney W. Walker, Davis County Clerk, reminds the voters that the legislature reapportioned itself in 1981. This reapportionment caused the realignment of 75 voting district boundaries in Davis County. In the process of the realignment, 7 new districts were created and the boundaries of several other districts were drastically changed. Mr. Walker encourages all voters to determine their voting district number and to be aware of their polling place.
