Open House Planned At H. C. Burton Elem. - KAYSVILLE H. C. Burton Elementary School welcomed the opportunity to officially move into their new Media Center and additional two classrooms earlier this month. E. BOWEN Lewis, principal along with faculty members are more than pleased with the new center, which was desperately needed by students and teachers. The spacious center is designed and equipped to provide the necessary needs of the students. The school itself has taken on a new look this past year, with the recent completion of the new addition. The playground area has been moved to the northwest to allow more space for the children's outside activities. LANDSCAPING is completed and Mr. Lewis encourages the parents and other interested persons to visit the school's media center and become better acquainted with the facilities that are available to the students. The upcoming activities at the school include The Christmas Open house to be held Dec. 21 from 6 p.m. The class rooms will be open with each class displaying their Christmas decorations and various Christmas projects they have completed. 4-- IN CONJUNCTION with the Christmas Open house will be the school's annual "Canned Food Drive with the collection to be donated to the needy families during the Christmas season. This is a volunteer program sponsored by the Davis County Department of Human Services and will be held the week of Dec. It will be held in all the schools of the county. Children who wish, can bring canned good items to the school to be used for this project. In the past it has been very successful, stated Mr. Lewis. 13-1- 7. THERE WILL also be Christmas classroom activities held Wednesday, Dec. 22 and then school will be dismissed at 2 p.m. for the school's Christmas holidays and the children will return to class on Jan. 3, 1983. np When IiaGeombTra cube bom Entail A undue torm ol cteverty tinged paces dal can ba aaoiy manpuMad mo an tamoet infinaa variety ol gaomatne ohapaa.
