He retired in January of 1982 from the U.S. Air Force after serving his country for 21 years. He served two military tours of duty with the U.S. Air Force in the Philippines, one in Vietnam, one in Japan and one in Turkey. He had been stationed at Straw Air Force Base in South Carolina, at Lowry Field in Denver and at Hill Air Force Base. WHILE LIVING in Layton, he was an active member of the Layton Junior Chamber of Commerce. Surviving are his widow of Denver, one daughter, Alycia McLaughlin, Denver; his parents of Mesquite, Tex.; a sister. Mrs. Dorothy Duff, Weathersfield Air Force Base, England. ALSO SURVIVING is a grandmother. Mrs. Lillie J. Gallatin. Dallas. Tex.
