Seven schools competed for spots in the up coming state 1 A & 2A tournament scheduled for October 1st, Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at BYU. Teams finished in the following order: Manti, Wasatch Academy, San Juan, Grand County, Gunnison, South Sevier, Millard and Monticello. Holly Dyreng and Stacey Hintze,. juniors, defeated Gunnison in the semi final after an opening round -- 1 bye. Playing their best tennis of the over season.
