Snow College is holding an open house for the public on Wednesday, May 3rd, from 5 to 8 p.m. es Magical performance on tap at Snow College Convocation The man who plays Merlin the Magician in King Arthurs Tournament at the Excalibur Hotel in Las Vegas is scheduled to appear at the next Snow College Convocation on Thursday, April 27th at 12:30 p.m. in the Crane Theatre. Douglas H. Baker will be the guest on the last Thursday of April. The topic of his discussion will be Merlin, Shakespeare and the Arts. He will do a little per in the late 80s. Baker has performed on stage across the country in venues such as the Arena Stage in Washington, D.C. and the Asolo State Theatre in Florida. Baker received his BA degree in Acting and Theatre Studies from Utah State University and wend on to earn his MFA degree in Acting at Ohio University. He served as an Associate Professor at Southern Utah University for nine years and is currently working as an Adjunct Professor at the Community College of Southern Nevada.
