The change will bring South Sanpete in conformity with new state regulations: 180 days of instruction for a total of 990 hours, with no day shorter than four hours. The change is reflected in the 1995-9- 6 calendar adopted by the school board last week. That budget reflects a break with tradition: there will not be a deer hunt break next fall.
