They were able to sit in on meeting with the Senate and the House of Representatives while different issues were argued and passed. With Trenton Young just returning from the national capitol he helped them get the inside scoop! Fol- The Hard Rock Cafe is more than just hard rock! In fact, the Salt Lake City Hard Rock Cafe is filled with noise, food, friendly service and Australian waiters. And yes, Manti's very own Anna Osmond's relatives were displayed! The Youth City Council partied all night long before parking it at a hotel to rest up for the following day at the Capitol Building. Are all of you aware of the new law just passed as the Graduated Drivers License? It may not effect those 1 6 years old and up but as of June 1999 students turning 1 6 cannot get a full drivers license. The Ephraim Youth City Council was recently able to discuss this issue at the State lowing the afternoon at the capitol, all Youth Councils were invited to a catered lunch while listening in on new propositions for the new year. Elections for the Ephraim Youth City Council will be held in May. It is a great opportunity to meet people, City Council must like to swim, be- most of their time is spent rais- ing money for the Manti Swimming Pool Committee.
