Highway 89, Layton, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1981, at St. Benedict's Hospital in Ogden. He was born Sept. 9. 1926, in Ogden, a son of Howard WUford and Harriet A. Clarke Maw. On Aug. 31, 1945, he married Evelyn Glasmann in Ogden. He was employed as a printer for the Salt Lake Tribune. He formerly died worked for the Ogden r as a printer, and had worked as a brakeman for the Union Standard-Examine- vertising manager for Boyle Furniture Co. of Ogden. He had served in the U.S. Merchant Marines during World War II. He was a member of the Layton 14th LDS Ward. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3198 of Layton and member of the Weber Club of Ogden. He was a member of the Utah Arabian Horse Club and the International Arabian Horse Association. He was an associate member of the Arabian of He was a member of the Typographical Union of Salt Lake City and the Utah Farm Bureau. . He and his wife owned an Arabian horse ranch in Layton where they raised Polish Arabian purebred horses. He was reared and educated in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School. He attended Weber College. Surviving are his widow of Layton; two sons and one daughter, Keith Randy Maw, Clinton; Thomas Rick Maw, South Weber; Mrs. Jerry (Susan) Van Al-fe- Kaysville; five grandchildren. of .Also surviving are two brothers, Dale C. Maw, Uintah, and Blaine H. Maw, Ogden. Funeral services were held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Flowers Mortuary in Ogden with Bishop Kyle W. Follett of the Layton 14th Ward officiating. Interment in the Aultor-es- t Memorial Park. Erma L. Adams Brimhall KAYSVILLE Erma Louise Adams Brimhall, 68, of 561 E. Center, died Thursday, Sept. 24, 1981, in Davis North Medical Center. She was born February 26, 1913, in Maynard, Idaho, a daughter of Lewis Alma and Hazel Johanna Nielson Adams. She married Keith H. Brimhall, Oct. 7, 1940, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was reared in Idaho and lived for six years in Leyton before moving to Kaysville. ' She attended schools in Idaho and was currently a member of the Kaysville 9th LDS Ward. She had served an 18 month mission in the East Central States, Tennessee and Kentucky. She had served as MIA president and Relief Society president. Surviving are her husband of Kaysville; three Rogers Milton Williams Provo; grandchildren; one brother, Wilford, Tremonton. Roy C. Beazer SYRACUSE Roy C. Beazer, 69, of 3387 W. 2700 S., died Saturday, Sept. 19, 1981, at the Davis North Medical Center in Layton. He was born June 18, 1912, in Syracuse, a son of William E. and Emma Cook Beazer. He married Audrey Dalton on June 9, 1931, in Tremonton. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He had been a farmer and retired from Hill Air Force Base in 1970. He was a lifelong resident of Syracuse ana was a of Davis High Graduate He was a member of the Syracuse 2nd LDS Ward and had served a stake mission in the Syracuse Stake. He was a high priest. Surviving are his widow of Syracuse; two sons and one daughter, Gary D. Beazer and Paul D. Beazer, both of Syracuse; Mrs. Rod (Connie) OBrien, Lay-to14 grandchildren and nine Also surviving is one brother, Lloyd Beazer, Roy. The skill tests included rifle combat, grenade launching and machine gunning. The final day of the competition featured a grueling obstacle course. Man Held In Series Of Thefts After 30 days of investigation, an arrest has been made in the case of the multiple burglaries of the home of John Bur-,n- a of 48 E. 100 N. in Kaysville. According to the police reports, the first burglary took place on May 13. Burnas home was broken into and $310 was taken. The second burglary was on July 21. This time $50 was taken from Burnas home. The final theft was on Aug. 26. At that time a suspect entered Burnas home and took the keys to his 1972 Oldsmobile and then he took the car. Since that time the Kaysville Police Department has been conducting an investigation, Lieutenant Elmer Morrison said. Arrested was Russel Anderson, 28, of 1601 W. 400 S. Salt Lake City. After his arrest, he cooperated with police in the recovery of the car from a street in Salt Lake City where it had been abandoned, Burna and Anderson were former friends, Lt. Morrison said.
