Many students from Emery High have accomplished many things, and hold important positions throughout the world. Mr. Arnold remembers the Shawm Bradley ears with fondness. He was able to travel with the basketball team to Saint Louis and North Carolina to their tournaments. The State Championships Emery High has brought home are also sources of pride, and speak highly of our hard working students. Mr. Arnold also enjoyed teaching his own children as they went through the school system. The teachers at Emery High who were taught by Mr. Arnold include: Wendy Whittle, Neal Peacock, Kevin Reynolds, Andy Pollaehne, Nancy Martinez, Peggy Johnson, Jed Jensen, Todd Jeffs, Darrell Gardner, Diane Carter, and Laura Barnett. Paula Gordon has a unique history with Mr. Arnold, while she was a student at Emery High she was assigned to be his secretary. When Mr. Arnold became the Principal at Canyon View, Paula was beginning her first year there. She relocated to the High School when Mr. Arnold became the Principal there, and has been with him the entire 12 years serving as the Emery High The physical facilities at Emery High have changed tremendously in Mr. Arnolds years at the school. They have plans to travel more to be with their family. They would also like to serve an LDS Mission, and work in the St. George temple.
