Show WEEKLY REFLEX, DAVIS NEWS JOURNAL, APRIL 11, 1984 Receives Eagle Bill Skinner, 15 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Dean Skinner of 459 E. 200 N., Kaysville, is one of the latest recipients to attain the rank of Eagle Scout. BILL WAS presented the award, the highest award received in the scouting program, during a special Eagle Scout ceremony in the Kaysville 13th Ward. Ferd Alder is his scoutmaster and he is a member of Troop 351. He has served as senior patrol leader and is a member of the Order " 'Parent Seminar Set - KAYSVILLE The Teen Alcohol and Drug Councils from the six high schools in the Davis County School District, along with the Davis County PTA, are sponsoring an awareness seminar for parents. The seminar will be held at Davis High School on Wednesday, April 25 and Wednesday, May 2. Each session will go from 9 p.m. formation to the parents who are interested in learning more about drugs and alcohol. The seminars are open to any parent who resides in Davis County. There will be no charge for the programs. Some of the topics that will be discussed include communication between parents and children, recognizing drug paraphernalia, treatment programs that are available for those in need, reactions from students as to their perceptions of 7-- THE PURPOSE of this two night seminar is to provide relevant in the problem and what needs to be done, a discussion of the effects of drugs on the body, et. THERE IS no charge for the dump card. All residents of the North Davis communities are entitled to use the dump. The card is one means of making sure only Davis County residents use the facility that is supported by Davis County taxes. Cards will be mailed with water bills in some cities. Most cities use cards without envelopes for water bills. If this is the case, the refuse membership cards will have to be picked up at the respective city offices. AFTER JULY 1st, 1984 the old green cards will be invalid. There is a $1 replacement fee for any lost cards. Hours when the dump is open are printed on the back of the card.
