LDS Missionaries HE WAS born and reared in Kaysville and served an LDS mission in 1939 to the Central States Mission. In his church he has served as ward clerk, president of the Seventies Quorum, High Priest Group Leader and as a teacher in various Elder Adam Shumway returned home Wednesday after serving an Ber18 month LDS California-Sa- n nardino mission. HE WILL speak Sunday, April at 3 p.m. at the Layton 8th Ward Sacrament meeting. The chapel is located at 1015 N. Emerald Drive, 15 organizations. MRS. BLAMIRES was bom and Layton. reared in Preston, Ida. She attended Weber State College of Nursing and has been employed for 16 years with Dr. Bruce L. Neville at the Clearfield Medical Clinic. Active in her church organizations, she has worked the past 15 years in the Primary organization serving as president, a counselor and a teacher. She has also served as president of the Mutual and as a teacher. She was ward activity chairman as well. Carolyn Clark, daughter of Carlos and Audrey Clark recently returned from serving an mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints in the Cordoba, Argentina Mission. SHE WILL be reporting on her mission Sunday, April 15 at 1:30 p.m. in the Farmington South Stake Center, 200 E. 700 S. James Jenson, son of Ron and Gail Jenson has been called to serve in the Dearborn Michigan LDS Mission. THEY ARE parents of six children, George A. Blamires, Gary HIS FAREWELL will be held Sunday, April 15 at the Oak Forest Chapel, 2250 E. 2300 N. at 9 a.m. He graduated from Layton High and seminary. He has attended Weber State College and works Falkner, Layton and 18 grandchildren. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with them at their home after the meeting, np part-tim- e. HE WILL be honored at an open house from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at 2577 E. Joni Dr., Layton. Elder Bradley Robert Iverson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert 492 N. Flint Street, Kays-villhas accepted a mission call to the Brazil Rio de Janeiro Mission. He will enter the Mission Training Center on April 26. e, ELDER IVERSONS mission farewell will be Sunday, April 15 at W. the Kaysville 6th Ward, Center at 2 p.m. An open house will be held following the meeting at the Iverson home. Elder Michael A. Martin, son of. Mrs. Mitzy Martin and the late' David W. Martin of 426 Owens Street, Layton, will serve in the Halifax-Canad- a LDS Mission. 198 HE GRADUATED from Davis High School where he was active in speech, drama, and journalism. He was a member of the Thespian Guild, and a reporter for FBLA. He has been employed with R.G. Iverson Construction Inc. Co. np Rigby, Bruce Rigby and Shawna Oliveria, all of Kaysville; Melanie Sessions, Tremonton; Michelle Bradley Jon King, son of Gerald C. and Carma King, 541 Elm Street, Layton, has been called to the Tennessee, Nashville Mission of the LDS Church. HE WILL speak Sunday, April at 9 a.m. at the Layton 1st LDS Ward, 789 Wasatch Drive. He will leave for the MTC on May 3. Elder King is a 1983 graduate of Davis High School and an Eagle Scout. He attended Ricks College where he was a member of the varsity football team. He is presently 15 employed with Brodrick and Elder Taylor Elder Dean Taylor, son of Blaine and Annette Taylor, will return home Friday, April 13 after serving 18 months in the Uruguay, Montevideo mission.' HE WILL his mission report on Sunday, April 15 at 10:50 a.m. at the Fruit Heights 5th Ward, 201 S. 600 E. np Howell Construction Co. Elder Major Elder David Major returned home March 23 from serving his 18 month Missouri, St. Louis LDS mission. Accept Texas Call HE IS the son of Major (Ret ) and Mrs. Richard B. Major of 90 S. 300 E., Kaysville. Elder Major will give his mission report on Sunday, April 15 at 2:50 p.m. in the Kaysville 2nd LDS Ward, (Rock Chapel) during Sacrament meeting at his homecoming, np Elder Louis Blood and wife Hazel have received a mission call to the Texas Houston LDS Mission. They will enter the Mission Training Center in Provo on Wednesday, April 18. THE BLOODS will speak at their farewell to be held Sunday, April 15 at 8:30 a.m. in the Kaysville 16th LDS Ward Sacrament meeting at 331 S. 50 W. Both have been active in LDS Church functions and activities all their lives. Mr. Blood was bom and reared in Kaysville. HE HAS served as first counselor in the bishopric of the Kaysville 16th Ward, served five years as executive secretary, a High Priest group leader and served in the Sunday School superintendency. Mrs. Blood has served as Primary president, been secretary of every womens organization and was recently released as secretary of the Relief Society. She has taught and worked in the Sunday School and has worked for 25 years in the Primary. THEIR children include Donald Blood and Lynn Blood, both of Kaysville; Raymond Blood, Tam- - Elder Shumway is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Shumway of 956 Valeria Drive, Layton, vsb Elder Brough Elder Kevin Brough, son of ELDER CAMPBELL Elder Brett Hugh Campbell, son of William A. and Sonya Wilcox Campbell, of 807 Amethyst, Layton, has been called to serve in the England Bristol Mission. HE WILL speak at the Layton BLOOD pa, Fla.; Jacklyn Peterson, Pleasant Grove; Beverly Swanson, West Valley City; they have 26 grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. Their grandson Cary is serving a mission in the New York-NeYork Spanish speaking mission, np w 17th Ward on Sunday, April 15 at 2:50 p.m. It is located at 60 Gord-a- n Ave. Elder Campbell is a graduate of ' Layton High School and Seminary. He is an Eagle Scout and has spent the past six months in the Army Reserves at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. Bishop and Mrs. James Brough returned from serving his mission to the Brazil Rio de Janeiro LDS Mission. He arrived home March 30.
