Show DECEMBER 21,1983 Bv NORMA PREECE 544-875- 1 Jeffrey Kleins, a medical student from Detroit, Mich., was a houseguest last week of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Prig-mor- e. Captain and Mrs. Lane Ga- lbraith and three sons of Freemont, Calif, were visitors last week of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. William Galbraith. While in Utah they spent time in Colorado before returning to their home in California. Steve Talbot and Lincoln Talbot are members of the William Pitt band that performed in Ogden recently. Most of the band members are music teachers or professional musi- cians. The band is sponsored by Weber State College. Both Steven and Lincoln played in the tuba concert in Salt Lake City last Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Perkins returned from Sacramento, Calif, wher ethey visited with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Lilly. Jerry and Patty Hartley returned home from a two week combined business and pleasure trip. They spent time in Atlanta, Ga. and at Savannah, Ga. w here he attended the National Onion Association Convention. Mr. Hartley is a member of the national board. They vacationed after at Florida, Baltimore, Md., and Washington D.C. before returning home. Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Godfrey returned home Wednesday from California where he attended the National American Vocational Association Convention at Anaheim, Calif, for one week. Mr. Godfrey is president of the Utah Vocational Association. There were 20 foreign countries represented at the convention. Kim Cranney and son Dan of Berkeley, Calif, will arrive Dec. 22 to spend Christmas with his mother Mrs. Jan Davis. birthday gathering. They spent a week before returning to their home in California. Mrs. Renee Rogerson left to join her husband Jan Rogerson who is stationed in Okinawa. Jan is a captain in the U.S. Marines Corps. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Rogerson. Dr. Haven Barlow and children of Rochester, New York will arrive to spend Christmas and the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Haven J. Barlow and family in Layton and with his mother-in-laMrs. Ella Dee McGlinch in Kaysville. He will also be attending the wedding of his brother, Stuart Barlow. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Durrant hosted a family Christmas dinner for members of her family and also their children on Christmas visitors of Mrs. Nellie Nelson will be Mr. and Mrs. Cornell Haacke and family, Bountiful; Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Zaugg and family of Clearfield. Edith and Jim McLaughlin of Reseda, Calif, recently visited with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John L. Kneedy. They came for her mother, Mrs. Sara Kneedys surprise family spent several days w ith his sisin Lakewood and San Clemente before returning home. Saturday, Dec. 17 at the Kaysville East Stake Center cultural hall. Fifty guests attended. Guests included Val Durrant, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Hamblin and children; Mr. and Mrs. ters Mr. and Mrs. Casper G. Carroll visited recently in Fruitland, Ida. where they Don Durrant and children, Wells ville ; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Decaria, Ogden; her mother, Mrs. Chloe Thacker, her brother, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Thacker and sons John and Bill, Mr. and Mrs. Lance Gardner, all of Heber City; Mr. and Mrs. Glen Gardner, Lehi; Mrs. Eva Williams, Pro were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Brown. While there Mr. Carroll was honored at a surprise party by his former war buddies who all served in the South Pacific together. Thirty-guest- s attended. Mrs. Linda Nance has been confined the past week to the Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful where she has been undergoing treatment.
