Show AUGUST 24, 1983 OUTLOOK A loss is a loss, no matter how you look at it. But is was downright tough for the Lancer fans to see their club lose as many close games as they did last season. Following several disappointing seasons, the Lancers might have the right mix of talent and attitude to turn those squeakers into victories. E our club, Im really impressed with his speed," said Hansen. Tom Kidd is another returning starter in the backfield. If Kidd missed any games at all during last season, it was because of injuries. Tom and 180 should give the Lancers quite a at running game. Hansen commented about Kidd, Hes matured physically and mentally over last season. I believe that track really helped Tom improve his running and leg strength.
