Show JUNE 1, 1983 Physicians Concerned Over Till Rising Health Care Costs Concerned about the rising cost of health care, physicians from the Davis County Medic- North in Layton, and with Administrator Lindel L. Carri-gand members of the Lake-vieHospital Medical Staff in Bountiful. er al Association have met with the medical and administrative staffs of both hospitals in Davis County in order to identify problems that contribute to increasing medical costs and to work together to find possible solutions to those problems. THE LNDEPTH discussions centered around three basic questions presented by the trustees. They include (1) What are the causes of rising medical costs? (2) What factors are responsible for these causes in the rise of medical costs? (3) What is the solution to the problem of escalating health care costs?
