Guests last week of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Manning was his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Frye of Fairfax, Calif., and another aunt, Mrs. Aglai Manning of San Jose, Calif. They came for the golden wedding open house of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Nelson held in Provo. Mrs. Barbara Dyal returned from Canton, Ohio where she spent the past month with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Flamm. Arriving Tuesday from San Diego, Calif, to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Herndon, are Mr. and Mrs. Glen Wright and children. Mrs. Wright is the former Connie Herndon and came to attend her Davis High School 20th class reunion held on June 25. They will also visit with Mr. Wrights mother, Mrs. Madge Dickerson of American Fork. Mr. and Mrs. John Padilla celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on June 15 with a trip to the Hawaiian Islands visiting the many islands while there. Mrs. Lillie Johnson of Albuquerque, N.M. visited this week with Mr. and Mrs. Gar Elison. Mr. and Mrs Steven Adam and children of St. Louis, Mo. have been visiting both of their parents for a week. They are Mr. and Mrs. Fred Alder and Mr. and Mrs. Ariel Knowles. Mr. and Mrs. Gar Elison and family attended the Durfee family reunion at Crystal in Provo on August 11. They are members of the Kaysville 2nd Ward. family in Kaysville. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Johnson of Texas is visiting with Mr. and Mrs. William H. Umpleby this week. Raymond and Amy King have received a mission call to the Alabama Birmingham Mission. Their daughter Tuule has been in Kaysville attending Davis High School on the Rotary Exchange program. Tuule also spent time with the Ashby of Centerville, who died June 20 after an illness. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Dredge and family of Boston, Mass, is visiting with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charley Dredge. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Holt and their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lue McCann and their children, returned home Monday evening from a two week vacation trip to their cabin in West Yellowstone, Mont. The July 4th weekend will be spent in Park City for a few days outing for family members.
