Page Keith Gordon Campbell Sr., 74, of 2569 E. 1930 N Layton, died Monday, March 8, 1982 in the Davis North Medical Center in Layton. P. Thurgood, Layton. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at noon in the Syracuse 3rd Ward Chapel with bishops counselor Norman J. Bennett officiating. The family prayer was given by e Don DeWitt; prelude and music by Randy Gailey. PAGE Don Parker Page, age 28, of 2468 S. 1000 W., Syracuse, died March 6 in St. Benedict Hospital of respiratory failure. He had been hospitalized for the past Vh months. He was born April 25, 1953 in Salt Lake City, the son of Orion and Itha Parker Page. He married LuAnn Call in the Salt Lake LDS Temple June 1, 1973. HE WAS engaged in farming and had been employed by Hall and Gailey Construction Co. He resided in west Layton for 22 years and spent one year in Logan. He and his wife had resided in Syracuse for the past five years. He was a graduate of Layton High School in 1971. While residing in Layton he was an active member of the Layton 2nd Ward and had been a Sunday School teacher, YMMIA presidency member, activities director and a home teacher. As a member of the Syracuse Third Ward he had been a home teacher. HE IS survived by his widow of Syracuse; his parents of Layton; brothers. Alan P. Page, Layton, and Mark P. Page of Price; his Mrs. Katherine REMARKS wer given by Counselor Bennett. Speakers were Mark P. Page and Pres. G. Ralph Dibble; a musical selection, a medley of his favorite hymns, was given by an aunt, Mrs. Helen Layton; a musical selection was given by Ruth Dibble, accompanied by Marianne Call at the organ, and violinist Carman Dibble, Ellen Dibble, and Patty Sargent. The benediction was given by Jared Call and the grave was dedicated by William A. Call with interment in the Syracuse City Cemetery. PALLBEARERS were Mark and Alan Page, William Call, Richard Evertson, Jared and Val Call, John Watts and Tom Rhodes. Honorary pallbearers were Curtis and David Page, Jim Glauser, Chris Thurgood, Norman Whitaker, Bob Thurgood, Glen Bouy and Eldon Spencer. Funeral directors were Lindquists Kaysville Mortuary. Toastmistress Club Sets Speech Meet Council II, International Toastmistress Clubs, will hold its annual speech contest on March 20 in Provo at the Holiday Inn. WINNERS FROM the Lakeside Area Clubs will compete for the honor of representing Utah at the regional ence in Park City in June. The HE WAS bom Jan. 7, 1908 in Providence, Utah, a son of Ezra Taft and Lucy Pickett Campbell. On Aug. 12, 1931 he married Clista Christiansen in Logan. The mamage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. SURVIVING are his widow of Layton; one son, K. Gordon Campbell, Pleasant View; one daughter, Mrs. Gail (Dianne) Jones, Harrisville; 11 grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers and one sister, Elbert P. Campbell, Ogden; Dan P. Campbell, Salt Lake City, Mrs. Kenneth (Helen) Mon-soDenver, Colo. FUNERAL services were held Thursday, March , 1982 in the Layton 20th Ward Chapel with Bishop L. Winslow Hurst Jr., officiating. Graveside services were held the same day in the Preston, Ida. cemetery, dmg 1 1 HE HAD been owner and general manager of the Keith Supply Co. in Ogden. He had formerly worked for the J.C. Penney Co. in Downey and Rigby, Ida. and the Almond Ford in Downey. He had been owner of Campbell s Market in Preston, Ida. and had farmed in Preston, Ida. and Smith-fielUtah. He had worked for Heitz Heating in Ogden and had farmed in Liberty prior to his retirement. He was a graduate of South Cache High School where he was studentbody president and captain of the football team. He had also attended Utah State University. HE WAS a member of the Layton 20th LDS Ward. He served in the presidency of the Ogden LDS Temple from 1975 to 1978. He had served in the bishopric of the Ogden 21st Ward and on the high council of the Preston, Idaho Stake and the Ogden Stake. He held numerous other ward and stake positions. He was a past member of the Lions Club, Kiwanis Club and Chamber of Commerce. He was instrumental in the improvement and expansion of the Liberty Pipeline system. HE HAD sung in various musical groups and in barbershop quartets.
