Mrs. Clyde (Ruth) Adams accompained her grandson, Calv in Adams to Burley, Ida. for a visit with Calvin's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Neil Adams and their family. Several Layton residents traveled to Tremonton to attend the funeral service of Luella Marble Sandall on Tuesday. Mrs. Sandall was 75 years old at the time of her death. She was the wife of Wayne Sandall. Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Dick Adams, Mrs. - j Artell A. W ilcox, Mrs. Hector Flint. Mrs. Dot Sandall and Mrs Ruth H Adams. Each day various activities have been planned for the studentbody. On Friday an assembly featuring alumni will be held and Homecoming Royalty will be 1 announced. A parade will be held at 5:30 p.m. and a ribbon cutting ceremony to rename the streets adjacent to Davis High to Davis Way, Dart Drive and Dart Circle will be at 6 p.m. The main event is the football game of Davis vs. Highland at 7:30. The Homecoming Royalty will reign over the traditional dance held Saturday night in the school cafeteria. All alumni are invited to participate in the activities. Clearfield Club Week is The week of Sept. going to be a fun one for Clearfield High. The school will have Club Week. The main purpose of the week is to get students involved in the different clubs. 21-2- 5 ACTIVITIES WILL Teachers are excited to meet parents at Back-to-Scho- Night Sept. 24 from 9 p.m. After a brief introduction to the school in the auditorium, parents go to their cnildrens classes to meet the instructors. 7-- During these five minute clas- ses, teachers outline their course of study for the year. ON SEPT. 25, an outside movie will be held on the quad at 8 p.m. They are asking a $1 donation. in- clude: Monday and T uesday each club will have a booth set up in the quad and students will be able to able to obtain information about different clubs they may wish to join. Wednesday: an Anything Goes assembly on the football field. It will be competition between clubs. Kiwanis Meets On Wednesday, Sept. 9, the Kaysville Kiwanis Club met at the Chateau Center for their breakfast meeting. JOHN Thacker, Kaysville city administrator spoke to the group. He discussed plans by Kaysville City for redevelopment, bringing industry and business, plans to help prospective businesses with creative financing, ways to obtain STUDENTS OF MONTH North Layton Junior Highs students of the month for September are Darrell Martin, who lists physical education as his favorite subject. He's involved in track and basketball in addition to his regular studies. Becky Luzitano is a member of the pep club, enjoys g and says Spanish is her favorite subject.
