Adams Thanksspent the three-da- y giving weekend in Longmont, Colo. They traveled to Colorado to spend Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mrs. Loves daughter, Jaydene and her family. Javdene is married to Paul Taylor and have three children, Jed, Melinda and James. Friday the Layton residents enjoyed a sightseeing trip to Denver. They returned home JkMMILLK JU Saturday evening. Happy Birthday Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Halliday and their entire family held their Thanksgiving dinner at the Layton home of their daughter and Mike and Pat Burton. Gerald R. Loertscher, an electronic mechanic at Hill Air Force Base, has been honored for a suggestion to improve operations in his work area. Thanksgiving guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Roberts included Mr. and Mrs. Lee Roberts of Kaysville and Mr. and Mrs. Dean Roberts and their family of Blanding. Brent Higgs, son of Mr. and Mrs. Allan Higgs, has been hospitalized. He suffered a broken leg as a result of a soccer injury. Jim and Lisa Wall McBride and their three children, Belinda, James and Rachel of Mesa, Ariz. returned home Tuesday, after spending Thanksgiving time visiting with Lisas parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. Wall. They also traveled to Salt Lake City to spend Thanksgiving day with Mr. and Mrs. David Wall and their family. Wednesday evening, Mrs. Jeff Cnddle was the guest of honor at a baby shower given by Mrs. Don C. Child and Mrs. Monte Criddle. The shower was held at Mrs. Childs home in Syracuse. Mr. and Mrs. Diamond Adams had their family home to share a Thanksgiving dinner. Guests at the Adams home included Dr. and Mrs. Carl Brockbank and family of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Adams and family. Mr. and Mrs. After Thanksgiving, Mr. and Mrs. Duder traveled to San Diego to visit their Dr. daughter and and Mrs. Robert White. Mr. and Mrs. Adams spent three days staying with Mrs. Adams sister, Mrs. T.J. Snarr who lives with the Duder family. Members of the Layton 16th Ward Relief Society Board met Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. Wilma Roberts. The 32 women enjoyed light refreshments, a retold story given by Mrs. Jan Stuffer and singing of Christmas carols. Davis County honors these five and all other babies who are celebrating their first birthday anniversary at this time. A Bountiful Assistance Payments Office will continue to operate to serve South Davis County residents. THERE ARE currently more than 1,000 persons in Davis County receiving public assistance.
