Show WEEKLY REFLEX-DAV- NEWS JOURNAL, MARCH 10, 1977 IS Donald Weaver Promoted. Stfo Layton resident Donald D. Weaver has been promoted to ' colonel in the Air Force Reserve. HE IS a Reserve Supplement Officer and serves in the Directorate of Procurement and Production at Hill AFB. In civilian life he is employed in the directorate as chief of the phototramer branch. COLONEL Weaver began his military career in 1946 by enlisting in the Air Force and was discharged in 1948. He was graduated from Utah State University in 1952 and received his commission through the Air Force ROTC program. Other Reserve assignments include assignments with the 945th Military Airlift Group at Hill AFB and its subsequent unit, the 508th Tactical Fighter Group (Reserve). COLONEL Weaver began his civilian employment at Hill in 1960 as a contract negotiator. He and his wife Jeanne have three children.
