Mr. and Mrs. Verl Walker, occasion for Joseph to have all his family with him. His father is making arrangements for Joseph to be sent from the Kaysville Fourth LDS Ward to serve an LDS Mission. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur AnHot Desert of derson Springs, Calif, arrived Sun., Mr. and Mrs. Dean Sanders spent the weekend at Reno, Nev. on a business trip. (Stan) Stringham, manager of Mountain Fuel Supplys Layton office for 12 years, is also a member of the Layton Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. S. H. (Stan) Stringham, a member of the Board of Directors of the LAYTON Chamber of Commerce has been a Davis County resident for 41 years. He was bom in Salt Lake City April 10, 1924, the son of J. Harvey and Wilhelmina (Billie) Hogan Stringham. He has one sister, Mrs. John R. (Mary) Ramp-ton- , living in Bountiful. STAN attended Davis County School and graduated from Davis High School in 1942. He is also a graduate of the University of Utah with a BS degree in Business Management. He served three years with the U.S. Navy during world war II in the South Pacific. He is married to the former Jennie Wicker of Bountiful and they are the parents of six children, one girl and five boys, ranging in age from five years to 24 years. Stan is the grandson of Dr. Briant Stringham from West Bountiful and the great-- , grandson of Briant S. Stringham, one of the original pioneers to the Salt Lake Valley in 1847. STAN HAS been employed with Mountain Fuel Supply for 23 years and has been the manager of the Layton Office for 12 years. He has been very active in civic affairs and has served in various positions.
