Show October 20, 1999 - The Pyramid - Page Seven f J Brittany Coates, Dustin Keele repeat wedding vows FAIR VIE- W- Curtis and Eddy Jean Coates announce the marriage of their daughter, Brittany Coates, to Dustin Keele, son of Michael and Rebecca Keele, Spring City, on Saturday, Oct. 23, 1999. A reception will be held in their honor that evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Fairview Dance Hall, 65 South State Street. The bride is a graduate of North Sanpete High School and LDS Seminary. .The bridegroom is a graduate of North Sanpete High School. Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bench and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Stewart, all of Fairview; Grandparents of the groom are Anne Thompson, West Valley, and Dorothy Keele, Provo. The couple plans to make their home in Mt. Pleasant. Kamree Pay, daughter of Travis and Julie Pay, Mona, celebrated her first birthday, Sept 9, 1999. Grandparents are Garth and Becky Kendall, Moroni; Michael and Lois Pay, are Mona. Hannah Kendall, Moroni, and the late Weldon Kendall; Mark and Mertal Vest, and Joyce Pay, all of Mona. Great-grandpare- 1 , jV Dustin Keele, Brittany Coates pneumonia. He survived and has been a great survivor ever since. At a young age, he developed a great love for books and reading. As a result, he spent the major part of his life in education. He received his bachelors degree at the University of Utah, and his masters degree in California, at Claremont College. He taught at Moroni High School and then, in 1938, became superintendent of North Sanpete School District. He married Florence Noland of Mt. Pleasant, and that is where they made a home. They had two children. Dr. Joseph A CA, and Bagnall, Oceanside, Marilyn Rae Richards Purnell, Provo. While in Mt. ' Pleasant the family was active in the community and LDS Church. Florence was known for her musical talent. He served as a bishop of the LDS North Ward, as well as Stake President pf the North Sanpete LDS Stake. He also served for two terms in the Utah State legislature. They shared an interest in principled government. In 1950, President Henry D. Moyle of the LDS first presidency called Bagnall to serve as a manager for die South California Welfare farm in Perris, CA. After being released Joseph and Florence moved to Provo and spent retirement years working in the Provo LDS Temple. Florence played the organ until her death, Jan. 1, 1992. Joseph now resides at Prestige Assisted Care, room 100, 3300 North University, Provo. He would love to see or hear from friends or former students. He can be reached at (801) Joseph Rodley Bagnell will celebrate his 99th birthday with a family luncheon, Saturday, Oct. 23, 1999. Bagnall was bom in a log cabin in Chester, on Oct. 23, 1900. His parents were farmers and moved into a new farm house, when he was one week old. Her father was a music teacher in Utah Schools and each member of the family participated in g school and his dance bands. LoRee was accomplished on the trombone and later played in a Brigham Young University Dance Band and school orchestra. She taught school in Spring City and Mt. Pleasant prior to her marriage to Brigadier General Don Rue Hickman, then a Captain in the U.S. Army. They were married in the Manti LDS Temple in 1942 and she accompanied him around the world in his various assignments for 32 years. In military travels throughout the world, LoRee has faithfully fulfilled many LDS Church assignments, including presidencies in ward and stake Relief Society in many areas both in and out of the United States. She also filled an LDS Mission with her husband in Jacksonville FL. Don Rue and LoRee have four daughters, DeAnn Giles and Pamela Norris, both Birmingham, Mfc. 0. This commission seeks to issues understand growth-relate- d and use the information to help draft the principles of quality growth. Through the Quality Growth Act of 1999, the commission was given the legislative responsibilities to draft the principles of quality growth and make recommendations to the legislature in how to draft those principles. The information gathered from the public wn? become an integral and valuable part in formulating the principles of quality growth. |
