Pleasant, on May Layne Shipley, Esther Slack to wed in SLC Temple 15, 1999, in the Manti LDS Temple. A reception was held that evening, and an open house will be held in their honor from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, May 21, at the Mt. Pleasant Sixth LDS Ward, 49 South State Street. The bride is a graduate of Bingham High School where she was involved with show choirs, school drama and LDS Seminary Council. She graduated from Utah State University in family and human development with a minor in music. The bridegroom graduated from North Sanpete High School where he participated in student government, football, basketball, music and drama. He graduated from Snow College and Utah State University. He served in the California Ventura LDS Mission, and performs with the a cappella group, "Voice Male". Both Richard and Jenny participated in the USU Institute show choir "New Horizons and MT. Shipley, Salt Lake City, on Tuesday, May 25, 1999, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A reception will be held in their honor that evening from 7 to 9 p.m.. The bridegroom is a graduate of Skyline High School and UVSC in marketing. He served an LDS Mission in Oklahoma and currently works for a genealogical internet company. . The bride is a graduate of Kanab High School and is currently attending Southern Utah University in Cedar City. The bridegroom is a graduate of North Sanpete High School and served an LDS mission in Georgia. He will graduate from Southern Utah University this year, and plans to teach and coach in that area next year. The couple will make their home in Cedar Manti LDS Temple. An open house will be held in their honor that evening from 7 to 9 p.m., in the Spring City LDS Ward Chapel, 164 South Main Street. A reception will be held Friday, May 21, from 7 to 9 p.m., in the Fox Hills Chapel, 3750 West 6200 South, Taylorsville. The bride is a graduate of Kearns High School and LDS Seminary. She also graduated from Snow College where she was actively involved in dance. The bridgroom is a graduate of North Sanpete High School and LDS Seminary., He served in the St. Louis, Missouri LDS Mission and has attended Snow college.
