A reception will be held in their honor that evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Moroni Stake Center, 82 North Center. The bride is a graduate of North Sanpete High School. She earned an associate of science Degree from Snow College and served an LDS Mission to Washington D.C. South. In June, she graduated from SUU with a bachelors degree in elementary education and special education and a minor in child development. She is presently teaching second grade in the Granite School District. The bridegroom graduated from Delta High School. He served an LDS Mission to Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. He graduated wih a bachelor degree in advertising and public relations with a minor in art. He is presently working at Axiom, a graphic design firm in Salt Lake City. Her job has given her the opportunity to see many parts of the world. She studied English as a college student in the United States. The bridegroom earned a masters degree in linguistics from the University of Utah and a teaching endorsement from Southern Utah University. He is currently working in the graduate school of international relations as an assistant professor of English at International University of Japan in a rural part of central Japan. The bridegroom has taught English in the Emiko Kojima, Gary J. Ockey United States, Snow College, Taiwan, Thailand, and Japan. The couple will make their home in Ulasa, Japan, where Gary will continue to teach and Emiko will continue working as a tour conductor.
